A Simple Story About How Brands Work

Created for a global financial company, in response to their request for an entertaining and accesible way of presenting a new corporate branding program internally to tens of thousands of employees. The piece was designed to promote understanding of strong branding practices in a simple, straightforward manner that could also be easily localized for use around the world.

For the third year in a row, I've produced a video piece for Microsoft's Mac Business Unit for the 2007 Macworld Conference and Expo. We chose once again to follow the previous year's very sucessful interview format, featuring enthusiastic users of Microsoft's Office for Mac. Production included location shoots in Los Angeles and Seattle;  I produced the segments, conducted the interviews and edited the final piece, working with DPs Kevin Rockwell and Peter Fuszard, and the expert production staff at Beyond Pix.

For the second consecutive year, Microsoft's Mac Business Unit approached Landor Associates to design a tradeshow experience for visitors to the annual Macworld Conference and Expo, which included a video piece, screened before and after live product demos in the exhibit space's theater. This time around, we utilized testimonials from three users of Microsoft's Office for Mac and Virtual PC, each with their unique personal take on the software's benefits. Production included consecutive location shoots in San Francisco, Indianapolis, and Santa Monica; I produced the segments, conducted the interviews and edited the final piece, working with DP Celso Bulgatti and Beyond Pix, who easily handled all the location production work.

Microsoft | Macworld 2005

For the 2005 Macworld Conference and Expo, I was part of the Landor Associates team which worked with Microsoft's Mac Business Unit to create their exhibit space, designed to showcase their suite of essential Mac applications. . . Office for Mac and Virtual PC. As part of the project, we were assigned the task of creating a video marketing piece to be shown to visitors between live product demos in the exhibit's mini-theater. The client's primary requirement for the video was that it closely reflect and integrate with the physical exhibit space in every way possible. Taking cues from the existing visual system - including photography, typography, graphics and color palette - I created this piece, managing most aspect of production and post-production in-house.

Wolfgang Puck | Brand Evocation

As part of a comprehensive brand identity program led by Landor Associates, I produced this piece for Wolfgang Puck Worldwide, Inc. as a tool to help them promote their broad range of products and services. I interviewed Wolfgang at Postrio, in the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas.
